FP Summerfest 2011
On June 3rd & 4th, 2011 the Forest Park Chamber of Commerce & Development held their annual summer festival featuring fun such as live music, a food court starring popular local eateries, a local merchant sidewalk sale, a giant lighted slide and pony rides! CF Casino Chicago
On Saturday April 30th 2011, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation hosted ‘Casino Chicago’ at the Windy City Fieldhouse. Along with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, the casino themed evening featured a live and silent auction, a VIP reception with poker star Annie Duke and the 7th Annual Hold’em Poker Tournament! (The ultimate winner of the tournament earned a spot in the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas!) All proceeds from the night benefited the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s research for a cure. 2011 Ancona School Wonder Gala
The Ancona School marked their 48th anniversary with their annual Every Child a Star Benefit entitled Wonder Gala on April 9, 2011 at Galleria Marchetti. Guests enjoyed exciting live and silent auctions which included trips, jewelry and original items, in additiona to live music, dancing… and even surprise appearances from a lady dressed entirely of napkins, a whimsical mime and a rad dancing bubble space man! All proceeds from the night went to support Ancona’s Financial Aid program, effectively ensuring the continuation of the school’s proud tradition of cultural, ethnic and economic diversity. FP St. Pattys Day Parade
St. Patrick’s Day has come early this year! On Saturday, March 5, 2011 Forest Park held it’s annual St. Patty’s Day Parade. Despite the chill, hundreds of residents gathered on Madison Street to participate in the fun. Chris Guillen and Kristin Gulick were there to capture the day- Check out the excitement here!
Oak Leyden Candlelight Bowl
On Saturday February 26, 2011 the 11th Annual Candlelight Bowl and Bowling Gallery was held at Circle Lanes in Forest Park. The night was filled with delicious Hors D’oeuvres, awesome music by Fig Media and of course- Bowling! All proceeds benefited Oak Leyen Developmental Services Early Intervention Program- A non - for - profit agency that serves children with developmental disabilities. COT
The Inaugural Catherine O’Connor Trage (COT) Foundation Benefit was held last Saturday, February 19th. After a memorial mass at St. Luke’s, hundreds of friends and family showed up to Fitzgerald’s to enjoy a silent auction & raffle, as well as dinner & dancing to performers Dick Holiday and the Bamboo gang. Marklund Top Hat Ball 2011
On Saturday, February 12, 2011 the Annual Top Hat Ball went Hollywood! Guests enjoyed a Red Carpet experience- Complete with lights, cameras and Joan Rivers! All proceeds raised during the night went to Marklund, a not-for-profit organization that provides compassionate care to infants, children and adults with severe developmental disabilities. CF Grand Chefs Gala 2011
On January 28, 2011 the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Foundation held the 14th annual Grand Chefs Gala / Jean Banchet Awards for Culinary Excellence at the Fairmont Hotel and Resort. The fantastic evening, themed ‘The Emerald City’ brought together Chicago’s finest local chefs, pastry chefs and mixologists who all prepared and presented their own signature dishes. Infinium Christmas Party 2010
On December 11, 2010 Infinium Captial Management held their annural company Christmas party at Epic Restaurant and Lounge. Chicago Blackhawks player Patrick Kane even took a break from watching the game to make an appearance!
12th Anniversary RIC Bearcat Ball
On Saturday, October 23, 2010 a sell-out crowd gathered at the Chicago Cultural Center’s Yates Gallery to help raise funds for the RIC Pediatric Charity Care. The evening was filled with casino gaming, food from the city’s top restaurants, a deluxe silent auction and a live performance by the nationally acclaimed Don Cagen Orchestra.
