Greenline Wheels
On August 20, 2010 Greenline Wheels, a rental facility which offers ecologically friendly and affordable transportation to encourage local tourism, local commerce, and the usage and expansion of bike routes, celebrated it’s grand opening. Forest Park Summerfest 2010
Forest Park held it’s annual Summerfest Friday, June 4th and Saturday, June 5th 2010. Hosted by The Forest Park Chamber of Commerce & Development, this hip summer festival featured live music on two stages, a beer garden, a food court starring popular local eateries, an antique market and local merchant sidewalk sale, demonstrations, ‘Senior Square’ with bingo and prizes, arts and crafts, children’s entertainment, pony rides, face painting, a giant lighted slide and much more! Art Futura 2010
On May 20, 2010 the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago held Art Futura, the 8th annual juried art exhibition of more than 150 emerging and established artists. The proceeds from the exhibit and closing night reception benefited RIC’s Art Therapy program. Check out Chris Guillen’s photos here!
Manager's Ball 2010 - Under the Big Top
On April 10, 2010 the Kellogg School of Management held it’s annual charity gala: The Managers’ Ball. Proceeds from this year’s circus-themed event benefited Children’s Oncology Services’ Oene Step at a Time Camp, an organization that creates traditional summer camp experiences for local kids diagnosed with cancer. 10th Annual Candlelight Bowl
On Saturday, March 20, 2010 the 10th Annual Candlelight Bowl Fundraiser was held at Circle Lanes in Forest Park. The proceeds from the fundraiser benefited Oak Leyden Developmental Services Early Intervention Program, A Not-For-Profit Agency serving children with developmental disabilities.
